Century

Century Blinds Inc. warrants that the operating mechanisms, slat, vane and shade materials contained in its window covering products (excluding those set forth below*) will be free from defects in materials and workmanship for as long as the original purchaser owns the product except for all motors and associated components** which have a limited four year warranty. Alta Window Fashions

We extend a limited lifetime warranty to the original purchaser. This warranty applies only to manually operated, custom products properly installed in the window, door or interior area for which they were intended. It’s no secret that window cords are potential strangulation hazard to young children. According to the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission, corded window coverings are among the top five hidden hazards in American homes. Because of this, safety experts recommend using only cordless window coverings in homes with young children check your window coverings for exposed or dangling cords and retrofit or replace them with safer, state-of-the-art products.

Care & Cleaning

Care & Cleaning Instructions

We design our window fashions in a way that minimal care and cleaning is required. Beyond regular dusting and periodic vacuuming not much attention is needed. We recommend using a mild detergent (no additives/non-abrasive) and a clean, white cloth for optimal results.

Dusting Guidelines: Regular light dusting let’s blinds, shades, sheers, shutters and window panels maintain a like-new appearance. Do not use magnetic cleaners such as a dusting mitt on light-dimming fabric as this will damage the light dimming backing.
Vacuuming Guidelines: Vacuum gently by using the brush attachment on any vacuum cleaner. Most products may be vacuumed using a vertical stroke. Do not use an abrasive brush attachment or long vertical strokes to vacuum sheer products, as these actions will crease the fabric.
Compressed air or hair dryer (non-heat setting): Use to blow dust off of selected window coverings.
